Prof. Temur Gugushvili is co-founder of SCIEN - Science, Policy, and Society Initiative and Associate Professor at the International Black Sea University. He specializes in agriculture, tourism, and rural development, working with international and local organizations across academic, public, and international sectors. His research employs interdisciplinary, mixed-methods approaches focused on real-world impact. He advocates for participatory methods that meaningfully engage communities and stakeholders, ensuring research findings drive tangible actions and transformative change rather than remaining purely theoretical.
