ReMoDe Project Presents Resilience Framework at ForumAlpinum 2026

Project co-lead Gvantsa Salukvadze and researcher Temur Gugushvili presented the ReMoDe project's latest achievements at ForumAlpinum 2026 in Aosta, Italy, showcasing a comprehensive framework for measuring resilience in alpine destinations. 

The project has developed 25 resilience indicators across Community, Vulnerability & Health, and Economy. Three breakthrough indicators, Household Debt, Geopolitical Risk Exposure, and Architectural Pollution, are entirely new to the field, providing unprecedented insight into alpine community vulnerabilities.

The Digital Resilience Platform (DRP) will launch imminently, enabling mountain destinations to monitor and assess their resilience in real time. The platform transforms research into actionable tools for communities and policymakers facing the interconnected challenges of mountain regions.

Through its research and digital tools, ReMoDe bridges the gap between academic knowledge and practical implementation, ensuring that mountain tourism stakeholders at all levels can access evidence-based insights for building resilience.
