The Digital Resilience Platform (DRP) is built on the Resilience Index and serves as a practical digital tool for destination stakeholders. It enables users to assess their resilience levels across selected indicators, identify strengths and weaknesses, benchmark against other participating destinations, and document activities undertaken to enhance resilience.
The development and monitoring of these indicators are essential for evaluating resilience during crises and for designing strategies that strengthen long-term capacity, while also addressing information gaps and emerging priorities for mountain development. In addition, the DRP can be integrated into existing digital tools—such as destination apps—to reinforce regional information systems.
To ensure sustainability, the DRP is embedded in the newly established doctoral college at Tbilisi State University (TSU) and the strengthened doctoral college at the University of Innsbruck (UIBK). Doctoral students and coordinators jointly contribute to data collection and platform maintenance, ensuring the platform remains relevant and functional beyond the project’s duration.
